What Is The Thumping In My Ear?

Hi there, Intermittently, I have a sort of thumping in my right ear, this comes and goes throughout the day. Instances where this is occurring can last around 20+ mins at the most. This isn t rythmic, nor do I feel any pain; seems almost more like a muscle contraction. I started using a mono headset several weeks ago, which is an earpiece. Could this have been the primary contributor?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

It is unlikely that this is due to your usage of headset. It looks like you are having trouble with your eustachian tube , which is a normal tube between your ear and nose. I would like you to meet your ent doctor who will do an endoscopy on you to look at your eusachain tube and guide you further.
Thanks
