I am registered nurse in the Philippines, working in a hospital. I am diagnosed of Pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta. My rashes are here for 2 weeks already. My doctor prescribed me bethametasone lotion which I am using now and another doctor told me to take prednisone 5 mg in a tapering dose- this I have not tried to take. Is it okay to take that steroid? What diet can you recommend? Thank you very much.
