What Is The Treatment For A Black Disc In The Right Eye?

I have a black disc in my right eye, impairing my vision. The disc moves around, but is larger than little floater type objects. It has been occurring for the last few days but today has worsened. The disc has a red tinge. Do I need to see a doctor or will it go away after time?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there,
You definitely need to see an ophthalmologist (eye specialist) at the earliest. This could be a bleed in the vitreous (jelly inside the eye). Little floaters go away but a big black spot cannot be ignored. A thorough eye exam is needed to find if there is any retinal detachment. Please visit as early as possible.
Take care.

Ophthalmologist Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash's  Response
it is short of floater or opacity in media obstructing vision. it is Tobe diagnosed by proper examination. treatment will be different for different cause. cause can be right from cornea, lens, vitreous, or retina. so after localization of cause of opacity, treatment can be planed.
