What Is The Treatment For A Mole Like Spot On The Chest?
i have a mole-like spot on my chest that is about 3mm in diameter and sticks out just as far. it doesn t seem to heal, and if it is pierced at all or if i rub it, it ll bleed profusely (like out of a blood vessel). it slightly itches, but i can t scratch it or it ll bleed everywhere. help!
It seems you have pyogenic granuloma. these are skin growths that are small round red or black in color and develop due to localised blood vessel proliferation. It has a tendency to bleed on touch or with minor injury. When patients present with such lesion in my clinic, I either suggest a drop to apply on lesion to reduce the size of it or advise for removal of lesion.
I would suggest you to visit a dermatologist in person if you wanna get it removed. If you wanna first go with topical medicine to reduce the size, please get back to me and please share photo of bump so I can confirm the diagnosis and suggest you treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
