What Is The Treatment For Antiphospholipid Syndrome During Pregnancy?

I am 32 years old , have one 6 year old daughter. I am 30 weeks pregnent now with antiphospholopid syndrome. taking asprin and tinzaprin injection daily. what could be the risks at the time of delivery or may be after delivery. So far everything is fine. Pls advice. Thanks

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Antiphospholipid Syndrome is associated with the risks of fetal growth restriction, placental abruption, sudden fetal death, but these risks are highly reduced if you are taking heparin( tinzaprin in your case).
The risks at the time of delivery is associated with the effect of tinzaprin, like excessive bleeding post delivery, during delivery or caesarean section or spinal hematoma if spinal anaesthesia is given. To avoid these complications, the heparin injection should be stopped at the onset of labour or 24 hours before the planned labour induction or caesarean section.
Post delivery, chances of leg thrombosis is there , so the heparin should be started 12-24 hours after delivery.
