Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been walking around on a fractured medial malleolus (unbeknowest to me) for two weeksand had convinced myself that the pain was from an old (very old) break in the ankle, which now has extensive arthritis. What shoud I expect when I go with the ortho. on Monday? I am female, 5'6, and 56 y.o. Thanks much
hello, basically it has to be ascertained whether the symptoms you are suffering are because of the fracture or do you have arthritis in your ankle, as theseare two different problems. they will need to be treated differently, if it is a fracture you need to see the ortho, however if it is arthritis, you need to go to a rheum.
