What Is The Treatment For Back Pain From An Injury?
I have severe back pains from an old injury and Im a legal medicinal marijuana user to cope with the pain. I have a eye doctor appointment tomorrow morning and I am having terrible spasms in my back. Is it okay to smoke marijuana tonight even though I have to see the eye doctor tomorrow or should I tough out the pain for tonight? I don't want to complicate anything tomorrow for the doctor, any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Your back pain can be due to nerve impingement syndrome due to compression by disc herniation. Narcotics only give temporary pain reliefs.X ray of lumbosacral spine followed by MRI will be needed to rule out your condition for proper management. But better to consult an orthopedician and start the proper therapy.I usually give NSAIDs like aceclofenac muscle relaxants like thiocolchicoside neurotropic drugs physiotherapy and muscle strengthening exercises. If all these not helping then a surgical option can be considered.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
