What Is The Treatment For Costochondritis As Pain Persist After Diclofenac?

Hi,I have been dx a month ago with costochondritis.was put on diclofenac.at 2x a dayif needed.however also,pain hasn t changed.and left side under breast area I get like a throbbing sharp pain on and off.been to ed was checked they did xrays and labs to check heart.ruled out painick attack.so is this normal I also have Fibro.

Hi I did understand your concern
Some times costochondritis pain does not resolve with NSAIDS. What you can try though is hot fomentation, hot water bags or if they work for your cold bags. Also even after few days the pain does not go away i would advice you to consult a doctor who can then give you local injections consisting of steroids and local anesthetics that may help.
