I started with pelvic pain last November and after going to my local GP was forwarded to attend an ultrasound. This was in January and the technician told me that I had a chocolate cyst the size being 7.3 cms. but the location of it was unclear and not on my ovary. I was advised to go back to my GP where I had a blood sample taken and then was refered to a Gynaecologist. This appointment is on Friday and I have tried ringing the hospital so speak to a nurse to see what tests/examination will be conducted but with no luck. I am 49 years of age. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
