What Is The Treatment For Dark Orange Color Urine?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and being tested from preeclampsia. I am not doing a 24 hour urine test and my urine is dark orange, almost brown. I have been drinking water all day so I don't know what could be causing this. There is no buring when I urinate and no foul odor.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Dark urine caused by many things. Some types of drugs can cause discoloration of the urine. Further, urinary stones and infections can cause discoloration of the urine, but in those cases, lower abdominal or flank pain is usually the main symptom. I suggest a urinalysis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen
