What Is The Treatment For Diarrhea When Suffering From GERD, Diabetes And Bipolar Disease?

I have major stress going on in my life right now. I have GERD, diabetic, bipolar. I have had irritable bowel in the past. I take meds for all my disorders. Right now I am having terrible irritable bowl...diarrhea and some stool. I am nauseated and have only been eating jello and popsicles. I did eat a baked potato and a hamburger yesterday. I am off work due to the stress because it centers around my work. I am taking klonipin for my nerves from my psychiatrist. Anything I can do myself? I saw my doctor a week ago this past Monday. I wasn't having the stress until that next day Tuesday. So he never picked up on it.

Hi, I went through your query. I would advise you to keep yourself well hydrated preferably with ORS. Since it is not clear whether you have an infection or not it will not be safe to take any drug. You should get a stool examination done if the problem is severe. Once infection has been ruled out you can take loperamide which will relieve your irritable bowels. Hope this helps.
