What Is The Treatment For Excessive Gas After Meals?
I am 46 yrs old. I run 5 days a week. I consider myself healthy. I eat ok. No fast foods or sodas. I drink alot of water. My problem is I have gas not like normal people. Its all day every day. Especially after I eat. I've tried everything over the counter and nothing works. I'm scared it could be something serious. I really don't think this is normal. What kind of doctor should I see. I went to my family doctor and he said it was normal. It's not. Please help.
You must try consulting a gastroenterologist who can suggest you gas decreasing medications like H2 blockers or proton pump inhibitors. Decreasing intake of foods like beans and cabbage can help. Try and eat multiple small meals instead of having less frequent large meals.
