What Is The Treatment For Foot Pain?

The past few days i have been experiencing pain in the side of my foot and it gradually moved to the middle (bridge of my foot). It wasn t so bad at first but now it s so painful I cannot put pressure on it nevertheless walk on it. There is no bruising or swelling, nor can I recall hurting myself. So I was just wondering what could be happening.
