Thanks for the query.
Better to get evaluated to find out the cause for irregular periods.
Tablets may induce withdrawal bleeding once.
But the problem may recur after that.
And also it is not good to take the tablets without consulting doctor.
Delay in periods can occur due to many causes like hormonal imbalance, thyroid hormonal abnormalities, lifestyle changes etc.
So, consult local gynecologist once and get evaluated.
Investigations like ultrasound, thyroid profile, prolactin levels, hormonal profile including estrogen, progesterone, LH and FSH etc may be needed according to your history and physical examination.
After that the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated.
