What Is The Treatment For Heart Palpitations?

Hi Dr. I have been having heart palpitations for the last 3 months the Cardiologist ,checked my ECG and I did a lipid profile all seems normal, only a irritable heart...he has prescribed Remylin D,Vitasonic , Concor 2.5mg onece and 1.5mg at night and epitril .5 mg....

Hi,

Treatment may depend upon the aetiology of palpitations. Palpitations are idiopathic/ organic causes/psychological causes/drug induced.

I think you may be suffering from anxiety neurosis or panic attacks. Avoid caffeinated drinks, smoking, alcohol intake. Do yoga meditation regularly, continue above drug.

Once get it done an echocardiogram of heart. If you're symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
