What Is The Treatment For Inflamed Epiglottis?

Hi. I have had a cold for a few days and I looked at my throat with a torch earlier and thought I d grown a second tongue! Haha. After research I know it s my epiglottis - I ve never noticed it before so I m guessing its inflamed. Is this dangerous? Also my throat seems to have white blotches with red lines on. Any thoughts? Thank you

Hello

Thank you for trusting HCM

Dear nothing to worry about it normal epiglottitis is visible through mouth and it is pinkish red in colour.

If it is inflammed you can't take breath properly and it may obstruction trachea. so don't worry about it.

still if you have more questions feel free to ask.
