Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have suffered with back pain for 3 years, the pains tend to be all across the lower back (if it's very painfull I tend to poo frequently) the paincanalso spread across the top of my shoulders and down my arms. Writing is becoming a problem, I can't write an A4 page without getting really bad cramp in my writsts. I hae been to my gp who knows how many times at first they though it could be arthritic although now they have said they have no idea! I have been perscribed Tramacet which helps with most of the pain but it is not a fix. Im only 23 and this is already restricting my daily activitieis. I dont socialise anymore because after a day at work I dont want to move and I feel exhusted. Any help or advice would be a massive help.
Hello, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from chronic backache. Rest in position of relief, Cartisafe D once daily, NUROKIND GOLD ONCE DAILY and analgesics (DICLOFENAC 100 MG SLOW RELEASE TABLETS) give relief. Sometimes vitamin D deficiency can aggravate this so serum vitamin D test is advised if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. Avoid long continuous standing. Sit in a straight posture. Eat milk, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. You need to done MRI TO RULE OUT other causes. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
