What Is The Treatment For Nephritic Syndrome In A 5 Year Old?
hello my daughter has nephrotic syndrome since she is 2 yrs and now she is 5 they told me she has a chance to grow it out but still not yet . she is taken predisone and it make her hungry all the time some time am so confuse but am trying to be strong for her she is so grumby when she take the predisone please there is any answer for me

Hi, prednisolone is the initial treatment in nephrotic syndrome but if problem occurs again and again then other drugs like levamisole, cyclophosphamide needs to be given. Also, a kidney biopsy should be done to know the exact diagnosis. Take care.
