What Is The Treatment For Not Getting Sleep After Rotatory Cuff Surgery?

I had rotator cuff surgery a month ago. I am having trouble sleeping. I have taken zolpidem 5 mgs and I still cannot fall asleep. I considered taking some codeine cough syrup but was concerned about the interaction. What are your thoughts?mail is YYYY@YYYY

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Dear User,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

The cause of sleep problem are multiple.
The first possibility is residual pain after surgery that might be having.
Second adjustment problem with new roles after surgery.
Third financial issues as you probably are not able to take care of finances.
Emergence of any psychiatric or physical illness among others.

If you do not have any other problem than you can try to increase the dose of zolpidem. I hope that will help you.

If you not respond to 10 mg than it is better to seek help.
Thanks
