What Is The Treatment For Pain Caused Due To Hernia?
My wife went to the doctor today cause she thought her hernia that was fixed a few years ago has reopened, dr confirmed it and set up a visit with a surgeon on fri. She tonight came home early from work cause of the pain and thinks maybe gas pains. Should we call the dr cause of the increase pain or go to the er or just wait till Friday
Hi, As mentioned Ur wife having inscisional hernia n suddenly having pain. But you forgot to mention about pain ie intensity , site duration etc. If she is having vomiting , increased bowel sound or severe pain then no point in waiting immediately go to emergency dept . If pain is mild and no other symptom and not possible to visit clinic then take anti spasmodic with ppi still symptoms persists or aggravets then go n get reviewed .
Thanks n regards
