What Is The Treatment For Pressure Ulcer On Foot?
i have a pressure ulcer on right foot, have been going to ohio valley wound center for about 10 weeks! doc keeps finding new reasons on why it wont heal, he cuts and cuts do you think i should find another doc? had left great toe taken off, it healed alot faster than this is. hit 1cm by1cm,thats where it has been for aboutb6 weeks

Hello.Thanks for writing here.Pressure ulcers over feet suggest neurological problems such as hansens disease,disc prolapse ,diabetes etc.Finding out exact cause is important.Ulcers are most of the times infected and culture of organisms from the base of ulcers will help in finding right antiboitic which also helps in healing.Avoid tight shoes as far as possible.Consulting a dermatologist will be better option.Hope this will help you.Take care.
