What Is The Treatment For Pus At The Back Of Throat, Zithromax And Amoxicillin Has No Cure?

I have had a pus pocket in the back of my throat for about 6 months now.I started on Zithromax 250 MG for 5 days, Nov. 3 and now I am on Amoxicillin 500 MG and started them on Nov. 16 and it still hasn't gone away. Seem's to me that this would of been gone by now.. Any idea's?

Hello,
YOu can not self examine as the throat is not visible easily.
We try to examine and miss interpret the normal anatomical structure.
YOu should get done ENT consultation . If there is a pus point or collection then you will require a MRI or CT scan ie radiological investigation to find out the problem . Or if not available then you can get done an endoscopy. So get ent consultation.
In doubt do reply
