What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat And Fever?
Hi. I have had a sore throat for 3 days now and on the first day I had major chills. My sore throat has progressively gotten worse and I now have 2 big bumps on my tongue that hurt a lot. In addition to that I also have a white substance on my tongue that I can scrape some off with my teeth. I've taken various medicines to help the sore throat like NyQuil and Advil which only help for a brief period of time. I had a fever of 99.5 yesterday. I'm not sure what to do next. Need help!

hello thanks for consulting at hcm.. plz consult a ent specialist asap..since u have already tried various medicines,, for a check up and treatment,, gargle salt water thrice daily, use betadine mouth wash/gargle, drink warm water, keep ur tongue clean by brushing with a soft brush, if u have burning apply topical anesthetic gel,, u need a course of antibiotics and analgesics adn cough syrup,,hope it helps..tc
