What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat, Shortness Of Breath And Phlegm In The Back Of Throat Caused Due To Virus?

Yes please. I am calling for my daughter who has been ill for over a month. She was diagnosed with a virus. Her symptoms are sore throat, weakness, short of breath, a lot of phlegm in the back of her throat,and it hurts when she takes a deep breath.

Its very unlikely for viral infections to go on for a month. It is important to know if she is getting fever or not. Phlegm at back of mouth could be nasal discharge. We need to rule out any sinus infection and also oral cavity examination for any tonsillar or throat secondary bacterial infections.
