My 2 year old son has developement squint in his left eye.His left pupil is shifted towards his nose while he is looking infront.I have consulted 2 optha.First one suggested that he needs to wear +2.5 in both his eyes and the second one has suggested -0.75 R and -1.75L .I am confused as what needs to be done.
with your brief history the squinting at this age will be more commonly because of refractive error especially with PLUS + power. Your son needs a good refraction with "cycloplegia". Most of the times glasses will correct squinting. If doesn't improves then you need to consult Ophthalmologist with specialty in Pediatric and stramismus.
