I have been diagnosed with the flu recently given my symptoms, but my concern is my lympnods are severely swollen around my jaw and around my ear on my face and getting worse! I was given a shot a couple days ago and prescribed Tamiflu which I have been taking as prescribed. Do I need to go to the emergency room. As a secondary note I have had testicular cancer five or six years ago, but through routine blood work and testing it has never been identified any where else. And right before thanks giving I had CAT scans and blood work done with all good results. What's your opinion?
in my opinion if all tests have been there regularly and no remnants till now you need not to worry the lymphnodes are reactive hyperplasia to viral and take time to go even long after viral is gone use antiinflamatory analgesic tab to get pain and relief in swelling
