Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
46 yr old. No known diseases or illnesses. Was stung at least 3 times by bees while riding bicycle. Paramedics noticed 210 bpm heart rate. Went to emergency 30 min later were staff stabilized without electric shocks. The doctor said I had tachycardia and that I converted on my own with medication during intervention.
Dear sir/ madam thanks for your query. The treatment of tachycardia depends upon the type of heart rhythm disturbance it involves, the risk it poses to life, underlying heart condition and its provocative factors. If tachycardia was induced by bee sting only and is not likely to recur again , probably no treatment will be required. However do consult your physician for same. Sincerely Sukhvinder
