What Is The Treatment For The Diagnosed Migraine And Dizziness?

I have been diagnosed with migraine related dizziness and have been on a very small dose of Klonapin for the last 10 years. We have recently moved to Ohio and I am looking for an otolaryngology physician that treat this dizziness with that medication. It has worked so well for me, and I feel we are about 95% under control. Some Drs here in Ohio want to do other treatments --and I am somewhat apprehensive to upset the apple cart. I can go back to Florida one time a year and stay with my Dr. there--but he can only prescribe for 6 months at a time. Any suggestions as to who I might contact. Seems a shame to come this far, and undo all the good that has been done.

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to migraine.

For headache you can take tablet acetaminophen or tablet motrin.

In case of repeated attacks, you may require tablet vasograin or propranolol after consultation.

Along with that avoid bright light, high noise, acidic foods.

Keep your self hydrated. Take proper rest

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
