Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is The Treatment For The Pinched Nerve On The Right Shoulder?
I have a pinched nerve on my right shoulder blade that started hurting 2 and a half weeks ago. I went to the chiropractor this week but the pain has worsened. I am now getting pain in my right leg and my right arm has periods of feeling like pins and needles from my shoulder to my fingers. The ex rays show that I have a curve from my fourth to seventh vertebra and another curve at the base of my spine. Also, it appears that I have a white cyst in the center of my back next to my spine. The doctor said that he thinks it is asymtomatic and should not worry about it. I have not had a full nights sleep in over two weeks and the constant discomfort/ pain is getting to be to much. I do not have insurance, otherwise I would have gone to my family doctor. Any thoughts?
I feel it may be a shoulder muscle tear. I will be in better position to diagnose once we discuss the problem. Rotator cuff tear causes such kind of pain. It can be treated with physiotherapy if tear is not significant.
