What Is The Treatment For Varicose Veins?

I have the vericose veins on my right leg from calf to thigh near the knee joint. This has developed during the last two years. My job is desk based and I drive for about 2 to 2.5 hrs everyday to work under traffic jam ( Bangalore) conditions. I am driving 4 wheeler since last 15 years. I am not heavily built. At 52 yrs I am 70 kg and maintaining this weight since last ten years ( + 2 kgs or - 1 kg). No stringent exercises but regular walk of about 8 to 10 kms per week Dr pl let me know how I can get rid of this problem without surgery. As of now it is not paining and I am following routine without any problem so far.

Hi, as you have no job in which there is prolong standing, the progression of the varicose vein will be slow. Also, you can prevent its further progression by keeping your leg high while sleeping by keeping pillows below your legs. Also, you can tie a crappe bandage on your lower limbs starting from toes to the thighs while you are going for prolong standing.
You should also do calf muscles exercise, and quit or reduce smoking if you are doing so.
These varicose veins if smaller than 3mm may be treated by superficial laser therapy also.
