What Is The Treatment For Vomiting And Puss Build Up Near Stitches After A Colorectal Surgery?
My brother has had a corectal major surgery with a temporary bag two days after the surgery he started taking soft food and liquid diet now he is vomitting all what he eats orally.he has also developed a little puss near the stitches please tell if this is common problem or serious

Analgesics will be given after a major surgery to reduce pain, vomiting is a common side effect some of analgesic. not to worry, Antiemetics are useful to reduce vomiting.
Puss formation near stitches are seen in few patients, needs proper antibiotic treatment based on pus culture and sensitivity.
