I quit smoking 2 months ago.. i have quit many times before and i ALWAYS have the same issue. I get a horrid taste (and smell) in my mouth tonsil stones, a lot of mucus in my throat some times even a sinus infection. I am 31 smoked for bout 15 years.. WHAT CAN I DO
I have gone through your query regarding hangover developed after quit of smoking.
As you said that you are having thick saliva and horrid taste after leaving the smoking. you are also having stone in tonsil and sinus issue but these are not associated with smoking. To get relief you may take antacid and chewing gum. repeated rinsing and gargling with mouth wash.
As far as your sinus & tonsillar stone is concern for that you should consult your ENT doctor for thorough examination and treatment.
Regards.
