What Kind Of Diet Should Be Followed For High Cholesterol, Borderline Diabetics, Sleep Apnea And High BP?
I just found out my cholesteral is extremely high, and my sugar level is borderline diabetic. I have ms, sleep apnia, and high blood pressure. I need desperate help with diet. I am not wanting to take any more medication. I desperately want to learn how to change things for the better. Can you help me?
I understand your concern and from all the information you have shared I believe we need to do certain life style modifications in order to help you.
For all my patients with similar issues I advise them high fiber diet, switch from simple to complex carbohydrates i.e instead of white bread you can use whole wheat or brown bread and likewise.
Brisk walking or treadmill should be inculcated in your daily routine, small frequent meals, plenty of fluids would be of great help.
Please consult your Physician with the reports so that he/she can understand the situation and if required prescribe medicines.
Thank you
