What Kind Of Herpes Causes Chronic Outbreak Of Boils On Pelvis, Abdomen And Groin, Have History Of Genital Herpes?
I was diagnosed with genital herpes 8 years ago and was prescribed Valtrex which was real hard on my body. Since then, my outbreaks are continuous and I have either boil like outbreaks in my groin, pelvis and belly and at times sores in the groin area. This seems non-stop and I am wondering what type of herpes this is? I have a friend who gets outbreaks once or twice per year but it is 24-7, 12/year for me. Please advise....
I am so sorry to hear about these numerous outbreaks that you suffer from all the times. Though not the most common occurrences, it is observed in a good number of persons. You would need to take treatment continually to suppress and prevent or reduce the number of future outbreaks. This is one of the indications of a longterm treatment for herpes. This will reduce the number of outbreaks and the severity if they do occur. Because you didn't tolerate valtrex that great,, you may ask you doctor to try another medication used for this same condition.
