What Leads To Belching And Diarrhea?

About six months ago, my husband had his first ever sulfur burps. It went away after a couple days but he s been periodically getting them again. They smell NASTY, just like rotten eggs, even though he has not eaten eggs. The last couple days he s been burping sulfur again, has had terrible diarrhea, and has been complaining of not feeling right . Do you believe this is just some sort of intestinal virus or does it seem like something more serious that he should see a doctor for? We do not have a lot of money so we are worried to pay $200 for him to go to the doctor if it s nothing to worry about! Thanks so much

HI
I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to some infection and this could be protozoa infection of abdomen and this can be best managed with "Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for 7 days and tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg " once in day for four days, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
