You are suffering from grey spots at the back of your throat and feel like constantly clearing your throat. You have history of having cough,
nasal congestion and
throat irritation. The throat bumps are indicative of infection that is irritating your throat. It can also be a sign of swollen lymph glands due to a viral infection,
pharyngitis,
acid reflux, tonsil sores or cold sores (due to HSV) infection. Gargle your throat with warm salt water 3-4 times a day for relief.
Take
proton pump inhibitors, one SOS when needed to get relieve from something sticking to your throat all the time. Take a course of antibiotics like
Augmentin or Doxycycllne to get faster relieve from infection. You can take
acetaminophen, one SOS when needed to get relief from soreness and inflammation. Take sips of water and fluids throughout the day. To avoid coughing, you can take antihistamine. Stay adequately hydrated.
Take liquid food or semi solid food for a couple of days to avoid hurting the throat. You should take voice rest, avoid talking unnecessarily. Stay away from addictions if any. Get clinically examined by an ENT, get required tests and investigations done. You will be treated accordingly.
