Hi There

I understand the concern for your son, it does not look like any kind of serious issue, i would like to advise to stop him from indulging into any kind of sports or athletic activities for a week and give him a mild pain killer like paracetamol once in a day after food for 3 days. Hopefully he will be just fine with this much only. And if by chance the condition does not change at all then better take him to a physician for through evaluation.

Good Luck
