What Leads To Weight Gain And Low Sex Drive Inspite Of Covaryx Intake?

I had a complete hysterectomy 3 years ago. I was put on Premarin immediately. I was ok on it but my sex drive was not great. 4 months ago my doctor listened to my concerns and switched me to covaryx hs. I have gained weight....I am not feeling great and my sex drive is no better. It actually has decreased even more. Should I go back to Premarin

Welcome dear!

Thanks for consulting me at my virtual clinic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can easily realize your health worries. Being your physician, I reassure you not to worry as things will settle down very soon.
Covaryx has less side effects than premarin. Premarin causes weight changes, covaryx don't. But covaryx has got androgen in it. I think that's why your physician changed to estrogen only pill i.e premarin. If your main concern is weight gain then shift to covaryx again. But if your main concern is loss of libido, stick to that you are taking right now.
I suggest you to start jogging and your goal is 5000steps to jogg or walk daily and make a record of it. Get a pedometer for the recordings easier. Use healthy foods and fresh fruits and plenty of fluids. Meditation will help too.
