Thanks. My husband had 2 stents put in 2 different arteries at the beginning of May. (within 48 hours of each other). He is also a Type I Diabetic for 45 years with no typical diabetic damage to limbs, kidneys, etc. His blood sugars are fairly well controlled. After experiencing the heart events - (they said there was no damage to the heart muscle as we called an ambulance both times and they caught them quickly). However, with the added blood thinner and medications, his pulse has been 47 or lower at times, he has no energy, and his blood pressures are low, but improving some. The biggest issue besides all of this is memory loss or lapse. He had always been able to boast an almost eidetic memory before, but now can t remember his sermon (he is a preacher and always gave his sermons from memory with no notes), and is forgetting things - appointments, etc. this would have never happened to him before the heart attacks. His cardiology says memory issues aren t related to the heart attacks, but that is when they started happening. He never experience cardiac arrest. Can it be the medications?
