A few weeks ago i noticed a star like rash on my right side directly above my hip bone and below my last rib. I started applying some ointment the pediatric prescribed my son for his eczema and it seemed to make it better but it has still not gone away. Over these last 2 weeks, the skin and muscle around the rash has become very sore and inflammed. Seems like its betting more and more swollen each day and hurts to touch it. The feeling has also changed in thatt area. The nerves in my skin seem to have changed. It is tingly all the time, and if brushed against it has a burning sensation. The rash itself has not spread, however, the swolleness and soreness in the right side to my abdomen is spreading. What might this be? is it something I need to go to the Emergency room about?
