What Medication Is Suggested To Elevate The Energy Levels?
I am takeing a number of medications for bi pilot one dissorder my medications are as follows: in the am around 11 am I take 150 mg of generic lamictal, .5 mg generic xanax, and a generic 65 mg of iron and 100 mg of vitamin b 6. I rake 100 mg of seroquel xr and 100 mg of generic zoloft. I need too get my energy up and I am wondering how much b 6 vitamin is ok and when I should be takeing it. Should I be takeing a different type of vitamin b? I am exhausted and need too up my energy levels. Can you help guid me in the right direction? I also regularly exercise. Please help I just want too have the energy I used too.
Hello and thanks for your question. Here are the vitamins that I would recommend. A multivitamin/multimineral once a day. A B50 (combination of several B vitamins at 50 mg each) twice a day. An omega 3 fatty acid like fish oil 1000-2000 mg daily and a vitamin C 1000 mg daily. Over the course of a few months this should help with your energy. Do not take the iron unless you have been diagnoses with iron deficiency as it can damage your liver. Also be aware that many of the medications you are taking are sedating so you may need to work with your doctor to decrease some doses if your fatigue persists.
