What Might Be The Problem With The Sole Of Feet That Turns Red While Standing For A Long Time And The Blood Congested In The Area?
For few months now I ve been noticing that the soles of my feet get really red when standing. It gets uncomfortable to stand sometimes but usually do not have much of a choice since my line of work requires long hours of standing and walking. I ve researched everywhere and have not found a concrete answer but also I never tried a consultation either. My feet only turn red when I stand, i can see some parts get red on the side of my feet as well and it has gotten worse, the sking on both sides of my feet are redder than before . I m also flat-footed maybe it has to do with the force of the bones? I feel like its a circulatory problem, however I went the doctors a moth ago and they checked my legs for circulation problems and found nothing. It s definitely not Erythromelalgia becuase I do not feel a burning sensation or tingling sensation and it couldn t be Raynauld s disease either since they do not drastically change from red to purple/blue . I do feel them somewhat full, dont know how to explain as if there was too much blood congested in my soles, so they bother me when I stand and it gets slightly warm as well.
The redness in your feet on standing for long is likely to be due to pooling of blood in the blood vessels of the feet. The venous return to the heart reduces in the standing posture. It is the physiological response of the body. Though it appears to somewhat exaggerated as compared to that seen in others, I feel that you need not worry about it as it is not causing you any problems. Your doctor has already examined you and detected no abnormalities. Just take it as a peculiarity of your body and not as a disease.
Best wishes.
