What Might Be The Reason For Reccuring Furunculosis For Which Prescribed Novaclox?

I have boils on my thighs, which is Recurring Furunculosis. Doctor has prescribed me Cap. Novaclox 250 for four times a day. I have taken it for the past four days. I am relieved of pain. But the lump still exists. My sugar levels are normal. I have skin allergy otherwise. May I know the main reason for recurring Furunculosis ?

Welcome to HCM.
Boil is recurrent might be due to incomplete antibiotic course or due to resistant bacteria for your completed antibiotic.
Take proper local care.
Avoid tight,dirty clothing.
Wash that area with antiseptic liquid or soap.
Take complete course of proper antibiotic like amoxy/clavulinic,moxifloxacin.
Apply antibiotic cream like fusidic acid.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
Sometime surgical removal is needed in recurrent cases.
