What Might Cause Pain In Left Nipple?

Dear Doctor

I'm 31 yeares old,From the last 3 to 4 motnhs i have been suffering with pain in Left Nipple and some kind problem which i cannot expalin near and above and close the nipple area

Some times above of the nipple are

Could you please help me to understandwhat kind of problem is this

Hi,

Pain in breast can be seen in males also sometimes. The possible causes of your problem are:
- Injury to breast tissue, which can present as breast fat necrosis. Sometimes minor injuries can go unnoticed and can lead to pain gradually
- Muscular pain, straining of chest muscles can present with breast pain
- Gynecomastia, growth of breast tissue in males can lead to pain in breast or nipple
- Very rarely malignant conditions of the breast.

You can try ice packs and analgesic and anti inflammatory tablets, Minor pain will subside with this. If pain is not getting relieved or increasing in severity, better to consult General surgeon once, get examined and if needed go for ultrasound of breast tissue. With this workup the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
