What Other Permanent Solution Besides Sulfamethoxazole For Recurrent Paronychia Is Available?
My husband had Paronychia the first week of August. It did not get any better so we have been to the Dr. three times. They put him on Sulfamethoxaxole for 10 days and drained the pus, cut half his nail off...etc.. It never really went away and now it is back. What do we do now, he seems very uncomfortable.

Once again he is having same problem.Patients with recurring or chronic paronychia require frequent follow-up monitoring to prevent possible superinfections or deep-seated infections.
