What Precautions Are To Be Taken Post Uretoscopy?

Hi....I have just undergone a uretoscopy 2 weeks back. The doc is yet to remove the stent placed inside the ureter. What prevention should I take post surgery? Also please suggest what food habits should I adopt in order to avoid further stone formation in kidneys?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Take plenty of water to reduce risk of stone. Avoid dehydration.
2. As the stone is removed, nothing to worry. Ask your doctor to send the stone for biochemical analysis.
3. Based on type of stone, diet needs to be appropriately modified. Different stones require different diet. I can help you if further details are available.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
