My husband is having a lymph node removal (or biopsy) in a few weeks and I am just wanting to know what are the risks and are these risks high. He is 40 years of age and is undergoing the procedure due to have a malignant melamonia removed in early December

If it is only a node biopsy the risks involved are minimal provided he is otherwise fit. On the other hand if Node dissection (Lymphadenectomy ) is being done, it is a longer procedure with its associated complications. But even in case of the longer procedure the risks involved are not that high.
