sir i would like to inform you that cavities occur on teeth surface
and npt in gums .actualy what hapen is food acculumation
occur on tooth surface and on this bacteria action occur
deteroin the yooth surface forming a cavity.since you got
two cavities i would advice you to get q xray done in
order to find out how deep it is.if it very deep reaching
nerves area you hqve to get a root canal treatment done
if not reachin nerves just get it filled.
In order to avoid cavities bruah twice daily avoid too much
Sweets in your diet get flouride application done
see your dentist in every 6months.

I read your problem & would like to clarify you that cavities basically occur due to decay of food by bacteria & they occur on tooth not on gums.Conditions that cause caries are:-
-taking excessive sticky sugar
-having poor oral hygiene
To prevent these problems avoid taking sticky sugar n decrease its frequency.After eating anything rinse your mouth.Start developing a habit of brushing twice a day along with using mouthwash.
Also go for periodic dental check-up every 6 months.
For your current problem you need to go for check-up,if its not deep then go for its restoration otherwise in case its deep then go for RCT or Indirect Pulp Capping.

You can't get cavities in your gums, that is only defined for teeth in this case. You can get pitting in your gums and pockets due to disease of the gingiva. You can prevent this by:
1) brush twice a day effectively
2) avoid high sugary content foods like candies and choclates
3) use fluoridated tooth paste
4) see a dentist every 6 months for any possible decay and oral hygiene instructions

cavities don't take place on gums. they occur on teeth. you should use a fluoridated toothpaste and should brush at least two times a day especially before sleeping. avoid sticky carbohydrates which stick to your teeth like too many cookies. and rinse your mouth after eating sweets.

Cavities always occur on the tooth surface not on the gums. If there is severe gingivitis or infection of the gums along with swelling, then sinus may be seen due to pus formation.
* Always use soft tooth brush & check its bristle's condition every three months.
* Proper Brushing technique carries much more importance than the frequency of brushing.
* Apply light pressure while brushing by holding the brush horizontally against teeth surface & perform back & forth followed by up & down movements.
If there is swelling in your gums , Antibiotics can be used along with other drugs including serratiopeptidase to reduce swelling & inflammation.
If there are caries in teeth, it can be treated with fillings if not involving pulp & by root canal treatment if it involves pulp. So, visit your dentist to check clinically location of cavity & get it treated accordingly.
If you maintain your oral hygiene to optimum level by means of proper cleaning habits, then you can keep both the cavities in the teeth & gum diseases away.

Cavity is soft decayed area in a tooth,if left untreated pregression of decayed area may lead to the death of the tooth.
Cavity never seen in gums.
Any perforation in the gums either because of gingivitis or cervical caries of the tooth or pulpul or periodontal abscess.
So i would suggest you get your teeth clinically and radiographicaly(if needed) examined by a dentist in your area at the earliest and take a symptomatic treatment.
nothing to get worried,it will be all right.

Cavitation is found due to bacterial infection on the tooth surfaces.
The condition you are mentioning is most probably the infection of the gums which may have lead to formation of gingivitis , gingival abscess or gum boil
It is caused due poor oral hygiene ,improper brushing and flossing that leads to accumulation of bacterial plaque and calculus deep in the gum pockets and root surfaces of the teeth.
Gingivitis presents with symptoms of redness , bleeding gums , swelling , pain ,recession and sensitivity , deep gum pockets .
It needs to be treated by thorough professional deep scaling of gums and root planing of the teeth to remove all the irritants ,this will help in resolving the symptoms followed by a course of antibiotic and analgesics.
i would suggest you to go for symptomatic treatment at home like gargling with lukewarm saline water or antiseptic mouthwash like chlorhexidine or betadine.

i think that what you mean is space between your teeth due to gingivitis or periodontitis where in gingiva between your two teeth receeds due to which space is formed
what i would suggest is that you visit your nearby dentist and get scaling and curretage done
in the mean while you can do following
1.luke warm saline rinses for 4-6 times daily
2.apply gum paint like hiora or fitgum after every rinse
3.make sure that you brush your teeth before you go to sleep

Cavities in teeth are one of the most widespread oral disease in the world. ther are irreversible, that is once the tooth is decayed or gets cavity, it progresses further inside tooth to cause ts ultimate destruction which may or may nt be painful depending on various factors.
First of all, if you are already having cavities, you must get them restored by seeing a dentist, as they don;t heal up at their own as previously mentioned. for future sake, to prevent any other teeth from getting decayed, you can do the following

4) use more roughage (salad) in your foods, as they work to claen our teeth surfaces

The cavities which occur in teeth require proper filling. After taking X - rays, your Dentist will decide which type of filling or further treatment is required. You can get tooth coloured filling material in your cavities.
