What Prognosis Can Be Concluded Through A Blood Test Report When Diagnosed With Leukopenia?
Iam 67 years old male Indian visiting my son who is working hear in USA. my complete blood count is as follows. WBC 3600, NEUTROPHILS 50% lymphocytes 45% eosinophils 04% monocytes 01% Basophils 00% and RBC4.2 mill/cmm PCV 37.9% Platelet count 2.00 lakhs c|cmm. diagnised as mild leukopenia. pl advice

Kindly provide me your clinical history to comment further .
Your total leukocytes count mild low and lymphocytes mild high , suggest towards some form of mild infection esp.viral infection.
Infection can suppress bone marrow , so leukocyte count can be affected .
Repeat CBC after week , if total leukocytes count decreasing than further work up is done .
