What Should I Do For An Ingrown Toe?

I have a ingrown toe, and now the toe is purple, its red and purple near the side of the toe and where the nailbed is

The toe itself doesn't really hurt at all, it did when I first got it but now it doesn't hurt at all, it is a tad tender near the nailbed if i touch it. I have been Soaking my foot in salt warm water, using peroxide every minute literally, putting antibioltics on it and this over the counter ingrown toe relief stuff, But my toe is dark red and purple, and swelled i guess, idk

Hello,

You have tried many conservative measures, and if none has produced any improvement, then you probably need surgical treatment. I suggest you see your doctor as there are several possible options.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kerry Pottinger
